To trust God is to take a plunge of faith, an actual leap that should cause some fear. This fear is a feeling of being afraid. If you have never felt afraid when you trusted God I have to wonder if you really trust. The Old Testament word for trust is often "fear". It grieves me that the "afraid" aspect of this word has been removed in our modern Christianity. Trust always involves fear. "Moved with fear".
In Psalm:31:1 David ask God to "Bow down thine ear; deliver me speedily." This is beautiful.
